What is Golf Geo Guesser?
Golf Geo Guesser is a daily geography puzzle game for golf fans. Each day, players are shown aerial satellite images of golf holes from courses around the world and challenged to identify the course and hole number. The game features four difficulty levels — Easy, Normal, Hard, and Sicko — each adding a new layer of visual challenge.
How It Works
Every day, a new set of three holes is selected for each difficulty level. Players have a limited amount of time per round to study the image and make their guess. Points are awarded for correctly identifying the course (1 point) and the exact hole (3 points), with a maximum of 9 points per day per difficulty.
- Easy — Full satellite image. Great for beginners.
- Normal — Image cropped to a circle, removing the edges for context.
- Hard — Circle crop with a random rotation applied.
- Sicko — Rotated circle with the center pixelated. For the true golf obsessive.
Who Made This?
Golf Geo Guesser was created by Mitch Robinson, a golfer and software developer with a love for the sport and a soft spot for geography games. The idea came from spending too much time looking at satellite imagery of golf courses and wondering if others could identify them too.
The game was built as a passion project and is continuously updated with new courses and features.
Course Data
Hole imagery is sourced from satellite data and covers a curated selection of courses. Golf Geo Guesser is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any of the golf courses featured in the game.
